Miranda Lambert’s Ex Evan Felker Not Getting Back Together With Jilted Ex Staci Nelson
Miranda Lambert’s six-month fling with Turnpike Troubadours singer Evan Felker ended because he reportedly “broke her rules.” Cameras last caught the two together on July 18, and he finalized his divorce from Staci Nelson just two weeks ago. But, in an interview last week, Lambert said that she was “happily single.”
“I don’t think it was a dramatic split, but he knew what he was ‘allowed’ to do based on her rules and he broke them,” says an insider. “He did something that he knew she wasn’t going to approve of, she assumed he did it, and he didn’t deny it.”

Now that Felker and Lambert have split, Nelson feels “no obligation” to take her ex-husband back, and there is “no reconciliation in the works,” despite fan speculation. While opening for Lambert on her Livin’ Like Hippies tour in early February, Felker “blindsided” Nelson with a divorce just fifteen days after he met the Grammy-winning country singer.
Since then, Nelson had posted multiple times on social media about how Felker mistreated her, and she also accused Lambert of being “insecure” and calling her cell phone multiple times. Nelson posted a screenshot of her call log that showed ten missed calls from an unknown number, plus multiple calls from Felker. Nelson claimed the unknown caller was Lambert, but sources close to the country superstar say there is “no truth” that she had attempted to contact Nelson.
According to People Magazine, just one day before the news broke that Lambert and Felker had split, Nelson actually defended her ex-husband on Instagram, and insiders say she did that because he gave her what she wanted — a divorce.
When a follower told Nelson that she should “remove all the pictures of that creep,” referring to Felker, Nelson replied by saying that she got hurt, but he “will never be a nobody” to her. She also wrote that she appreciates the support, but she will never wish bad things for Felker or the Turnpike Troubadours.
Just read online were Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker broke up because he “broke her rules”. I’m assuming her rules where that he had to be married to someone else to be with her.

Nelson added that it doesn’t matter what happened, a wife’s love doesn’t “just shut down in six months,” and she didn’t take the Felker name flippantly. She then made it clear that she wouldn’t tolerate the smearing of the Felker name on her page anymore.
In addition to Felker ending his marriage to date Lambert, she also ended her relationship with singer Anderson East, who the 34-year-old had been dating since December 2015.
