In the new thriller, “Underwater,” Kristen Stewart plays an aquatic researcher who gets trapped 11,000 meters below sea level while something evil threatens her and her team. Turns out, K. Stew faced a real-life horror just to make the movie. “I’m really scared of the water,” she told SyFy.com at a recent screening. “I’ve never done anything that I thought was going [to be] super easy or comfy. So it makes sense that I chose this. But, like, in a literal sense, it’s ridiculous that I did this movie. Like, really ridiculous.” Kristen’s honesty continued when she was asked about the experience overall. “It was not fun. I hated it,” she told Us. “I would usually not be allowed to say that. Cause you’re like, ‘Oh no, highlight the good parts at least,'” she explained. “It’s a horror movie. It was awful. It was really hard. I was scared the whole time.” Kristen’s underwater anxiety epic hits theaters Friday, Jan. 10.
