The Van Der Beek family is headed to Texas.
James Van Der Beek posted several snaps of his kids on Instagram Wednesday in a now-empty house and hugging a tree goodbye.
“Sometimes a fuller life begins with an empty house,” the 43-year-old actor wrote in the caption. “Leaving Los Angeles incredibly grateful for all the friends and memories we’ve made here. Onto the next big adventure! ❤️😊”
While the “Dawson’s Creek” star didn’t mention where the family was headed, his wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, shared on Instagram that the family is relocating to Texas.
She revealed that the family has embarked on a 10-day cross-country road trip along with two newly adopted puppies.
The couple share kids Gwendolyn, 2, Emilia, 4, Annabel Leah, 6, Joshua, 8, and Olivia, 9. In August, they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, when he gushed over his wife in an Instagram post, calling her the “best human I know.”
