Jennifer Lawrence is telling Emma Stone to dump Justin Theroux, reports Star. The outlet reveals Lawrence was turned off by the actor’s “pompous antics” when she invited him and Stone to have dinner at her New York City apartment last month.
“Jen had them over to get to know Justin a little better, and all he could talk about was himself, from his workouts to his ‘craft’ of writing and acting. He literally spent an hour talking about his latest photo shoot,” leaks an insider. It’s even noted Theroux acted as if he was a bigger star than Lawrence, “lecturing” her on “how to make it in Hollywood.”
The tipster goes on to relate how the Hunger Games star later told Stone to ditch the actor, but her famous pal wouldn’t listen. “Now Jen is worried she spoke out of turn, and is going to suck it up and apologize, even though she knows she’s right,” confesses the source.
But there’s one major issue with the tabloid’s report: Stone and Theroux are not dating. A source close to Stone recently told Gossip Cop, “There is no relationship between Emma and Justin… They’re friends and colleagues.” Simply put, Lawrence isn’t trying to convince the actress to dump a man she’s not dating. The tabloid also wrongly claimed Jennifer Aniston confronted Stone over the actress’s (nonexistent) romance with Theroux last month.
