Becoming a mother has already had an effect on Amanda Seyfried’s approach to acting. “I feel more empowered [since having a daughter],” Amanda tells PorterEdit in the magazine’s new cover story. “I’ll say ‘No, I can’t do that press trip, I’m spending time with my daughter.’ ‘Oh, you want my top off for that part? How about we scrap that sex scene altogether?’ And ‘No, I’m not wearing those thongs.'” The “Mamma Mia” star also gets candid about the development of her relationship with her husband, Thomas Sadoski, who was married to his now ex-wife when they met. “[He] never flirted, never disrespected his wife. That was another reason why I thought, later on, that I could marry him,” the actress reveals. The two reportedly began dating after Thomas filed for divorce. “It was amazing,” Amanda says of the early days of their romance. “It felt healthy and freeing and clean. We can tell the story without any guilt.” The couple married quietly last year.
