George and Amal Clooney are on the verge of a “$1 billion divorce.” That’s the bombshell revelation coming from Star.
The outlet reports Amal is “imploring” George to “take his responsibilities as a family man more seriously” in the wake of his motorcycle accident, and has “threatened to leave him in the dust if he doesn’t.” An insider reveals, “Amal is fed up and they’ve been fighting constantly.”
Another source leaks to the publication that Amal “blew up at him after the accident but he kind of smiled and shrugged it off,” even though “the accident has threatened to upend George’s treasured family life.” It’s even leaked that Amal has “since left [him] — and has taken the twins with her.”
A tipster maintains, “Amal is pretty clear about what she expects from George as a father and a husband. [She’s] privately consulted a lawyer. And she’s prepared to leave him for good to make her point.” But it’s never actually said just how exactly George is falling short as a “father and a husband,” besides allegedly riding his motorbike against her wishes.
The magazine doesn’t acknowledge that Amal herself was riding on George’s scooter just a month before his crash. Gossip Cop also exposed the tabloid for cropping George out of a photo of Amal on its cover, wrongly making it seem like the picture was proof she has left him. On the contrary, it’s been widely reported that Amal is staying close to George’s side, and that this experience has only strengthened their bond.
