Fans of the beloved TV show are still waiting for a reboot despite the fact that it has been no less than 14 years since its final episode! Those who were teens and young adults at the time but also the new generation, love and still binge-watch ‘Friends’ equally as much. It’s just such a classic, so it would definitely be nice to catch up with the gang after all of these years.
It turns out that the dedicated fans are not the only ones who want it back – Jennifer Aniston, who famously played Rachel on the show, apparently ‘fantasizes’ about a reboot as well!
Not only that but, she’s talked about a reunion multiple times with her co-stars.
During her interview for InStyle, the cover of which she adorns for the September issue, Aniston shared: ‘Before that show ended, people were asking if we were coming back. Courteney and Lisa and I talk about it. I fantasize about it. It really was the greatest job I’ve ever had. I do not know what it would look like today, but you never know. So many shows are being successfully rebooted.’
She went on to confess that there may be one Friends cast member that might not be down for a reunion but the actress is determined to convince him if the show gets picked for a reboot.
‘I know Matt LeBlanc does not want to be asked that question anymore. But perhaps we could talk him into it. Or we give it some time and then Lisa, Courteney, and I can reboot The Golden Girls and spend our last years together on wicker furniture.’
