The actress is a new mom, and she opened up about how she is getting used to working again after giving birth. Now that her maternity leave is over, Eva Longoria is returning to her job, but apparently, the task of staying away from her almost two-month-old son is not easy at all!
While at a press junket for her new romantic comedy titled Dog Days this weekend, the star went more into detail about motherhood and working while talking to ET.
‘You know what, it’s been [seven] weeks, he’s seven weeks old, and I’ve been with him day and night, not working for seven weeks and it’s been the best seven weeks of my life. I just miss him so much,’ Longoria explained.
She went on to reveal that Saturday was the very first time since welcoming baby Santiago that she actually put makeup on and made an effort to look nice at a public event.
Apparently, the child noticed the difference as she shared that ‘I was breastfeeding him this morning and I think he was like, ‘Who are you? Where’s my mom?’’
Eva Longoria couldn’t help but gush about the bundle of joy: ‘He’s a dream, and he’s such a good baby. I knock on wood. He’s just been so easy, so sweet, we’ve been really lucky, he’s super healthy. It’s just been great.’
But that doesn’t mean returning to her career is not going to be hard.
‘So now comes the part where, as I start returning back to work slowly, [I’m asking], ‘How do you balance it all?’ Everybody used to [ask] me, ‘How do you do it all? You do so many things? And I was just like, ‘Because I don’t have kids.’ I mean every project was my baby, and now I actually have a baby.’
