Charlie Sheen Reacts To Ex-Wife Denise Richards Joining RHOBH, Will He Also Appear On Season 9?
Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wife, Denise Richards, confirmed she was joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season nine earlier this month and during a new interview, the actor reacted to the news.
As Denise was busy filming scenes for the new season with her co-stars in the Bahamas, Charlie expressed his excitement for his former partner’s new role.
“I don’t really watch that show… but I know it’s a really popular and good for her,” he told Entertainment Tonight on August 19.
“I’m sure it’s going to be a ball, you know?” he added.
Also on Sunday, TMZ caught up with Kyle Richards at LAX, where the longtime Bravo star revealed that Charlie may be seen in scenes from season nine.
“I think possibly, I think we may have a little peak into that part of [Denise’s] life,” Kyle said. “Hey, I’ve known Charlie since I was a kid. I have to say, he’s funny. He’s really a funny guy.”
“He’s not a housewife. Charlie Sheen is not holding a diamond,” she continued after being asked for a confirmation. “I don’t know. The housewives are the ones who are confirmed. Whoever shows up in their lives shows up. So, we’ll see. I’d love to see him show up here and there.”
Last week, Denise spoke out about her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I am excited,” she said told Entertainment Tonight of her decision. “I’m a fan of the show, and I never saw myself [as] fancy enough to be one of the housewives but I thought, Why not? I’ve been through so much in my life and I’ve been very private about a lot of it and I thought, I’m in a really good place and that would be fun to be a part of the show.”
“I think they’re a great group of strong women and they have strong opinions and I love that,” she explained. “I think, at the end of the day, they’re very supportive of each other. No matter what kind of little conflict might go on, they might fight a little bit like sisters, but they still support each other and I love that.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine will premiere on Bravo TV later this year.
