The Modern Family actress is shooting back at all of her haters! Ariel Winter is often the target of body-shaming and other hateful comments, but she is never silent about it. This was the case this time around as well!
Ariel just celebrated her 21st birthday, and she took to social media to share some pics from the party yesterday.
The shots are of the star wearing a black and white checkered jumpsuit and posing with her boyfriend, Levi Meaden, and friend Joe Kaprielian.
People commenting on the pics were either praising her body since she seems to have lost quite a bit of weight, or slamming her looks once again.
Here are a couple of the comments implying she must have gotten plastic surgery to look like that: ‘Nothing wrong with being honest and telling her we liked her better before ‘the change.’ / ‘She was so beautiful before she started chopping up her body and if me saying so helps one girl out there to feel beautiful who’s thinking of [plastic surgery] then [it’s] worth it.’
Sure enough, Winter was not at all happy about that last user’s comment, and she clapped back.
‘I appreciate you wanting to help girls love themselves the way [they] are, but you are also kind of cutting someone (me) down which is not what I think you were trying to do? I also did not get plastic surgery. That’s also not being supportive of women if you are just assuming something about the way they look,’ she wrote in response.
The actress is quite often trolled online, most of the time people criticizing either her weight or the revealing way in which she dresses.
As a result, the outspoken young actress has, multiple times, defended herself and asked people to just let her be herself!
