‘Jersey Shore’ Star JWoww’s Estranged Husband Challenges Prenup in Divorce, Wants Child Support
JWoww better gear up for a financial fight with her estranged husband in their divorce because he believes their prenuptial agreement is invalid.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Roger Mathews answered the “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” star’s divorce petition on January 24 by filing a petition of his own.
Mathews is requesting primary physical custody and joint legal custody of the couple’s two children. He’s also asking the court to determine a custody schedule that is “in the children’s best interest.”
He’s also requesting monthly child support and alimony from JWoww, and is challenging the couple’s prenuptial agreement. It’s unclear what the terms of the reality stars’ prenup were, but Mathews wants a judge to find it “invalid and unenforceable.”
As we reported, JWoww filed for divorce on September 12 and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. In contrast to her estranged husband, JWoww is requesting that the prenup remain intact and valid.
JWoww’s divorce documents, requested primary physical custody for Meilani and Greyson, but made noted that she wants Mathews to get visitation and pay child support.
The road to divorce has not been easy for the reality stars, as JWoww just publicly accused Mathews of domestic abuse and shared a video of him shoving her to the ground. Mathews denied JWoww’s allegations and accused the reality star of breaking their court order in a strongly worded letter to the judge in their divorce case.
