By the end of the BAFTA Awards on Sunday, Feb. 10, Rachel Weisz had a Best Supporting Actress award in her hand and a smile on her face as she chatted with Duchess Kate and Prince William. That wasn’t her vibe when she arrived at Royal Albert Hall in London for the event, though. Onlookers and guests tell British tab The Sun Rachel was incensed that security wouldn’t let her walk into the building until Will and Kate had finished making their royal entrance. “I’m important, too,” a vexed Rachel allegedly shot at a security guard. “This is a night about actors,” she asserted, according to The Sun’s source. “Why am I having to wait in the cold and wet? I have people to see. I’m not having this’.” Another witness said “everyone was really shocked” that she was so angry. To be fair, the flowy, layered, cream-colored tuille gown Rachel chose for the evening didn’t exactly look London weather-proof. And any kowtowing that went down around Will and Kate wasn’t only because of their royal status; William’s currently in his ninth year as president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
