Her last two major hits were inspired by her experiences with love, but these days, Ariana Grande seems happy to admit she essentially has no personal life. Speaking to James Corden during an unannounced appearance on “The Late Late Show” on Tuesday, Feb. 19, she admitted her recent charts success — which includes landing spots 1 through 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart — has been “weird and crazy,” according to E! News. “I’ll take a break after this. I’ll go away for a little. I promise,” she said. “Honestly, I was so excited you asked me to do this today because I usually don’t have anything to do other than just make songs and rehearse and that’s it,” Ariana told James. “Personal life still nonexistent.” Before she left, James gracefully acknowledged the tumultuous year the singer has had without explicitly mentioning her split from Pete Davidson, the death of her ex, Mac Miller, or the terrorist attack at her concert. “After everything you’ve been through this past 12 months,” James said, “I think it is a wonderful thing and you should enjoy this moment and be incredibly proud.”
