Last month, a source close to Selena Gomez confirmed she’s been focused on reading, exercising and spending time with family and friends in the wake of her treatment for anxiety and depression. On Thursday, March 21, the singer made good on the “friends” aspect of that prescription by helping to throw a birthday bash for Raquelle Stevens, one of her closest pals. Clad in a comfy looking sweatshirt, jeans and white boots, Selena joined five of her besties at a house party for Raquelle, who posted pics and videos from the girl-centric get-together on Instagram. “Best friends in the world 💞 thank you for throwing me such a beautiful party!” Raquelle captioned one pic that showed the party venue decked out in pink and metallic balloons. Other posts showed off the yellow, sunshine-shaped birthday cake the girls got Raquelle for her big day. Guests at the bash also included Simi Khadra, Haze Khadra, Ashley Cook, Zahra Ayub and Caroline Franklin, according to E! News. “I love you ladies,” Selena posted on Instagram after she got matching tattoos with Raquelle, Ashley and their friend, Courtney Lopez. “You all inspire me to be better, stronger, closer to god and we have lived the most INSANE story together already.
