The Spice Girls’ reunion tour wrapped up this month after 13 shows, but as Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm recently told Billboard, they’re already thinking about their next move as a group. “I think for us right now, the big thing is we don’t want it to end,” Mel admitted (via People). “We’ve had an incredible run here in the U.K. We’d really like to get further afield. We’ve had so many fans that have visited us from all over the world. People have come from New Zealand, North America, South America, everywhere. I think we’d really like to take it out to the fans that haven’t been able to travel but have supported us all these years. So that would be the immediate thing.” There’s more on their plate, too. While the recent tour included everyone in the original group but Victoria Beckham, all five singers will appear in a forthcoming animated feature film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Animation is shooting for a 2020 release and a soundtrack featuring classics from the ’90s as well as some new music. “We’re constantly discussing different ways in which we can do that,” Mel C said. “The legacy is important, and of course, we’d like that to live on.”
