On the heels of her Best Original Song Oscar win for “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born,” Lady Gaga has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Page Six reports the Mother Monster joins Adele, who won in the same category for “Skyfall,” and Annie Lennox, who snagged Oscar gold for “Into the West” from “The Return of the King,” the final “Lord of the Rings” movie. Gaga’s “Shallow” co-writers Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt were also on the new list of Academy invitees.
