Because Taylor Swift doesn’t do media of any kind without an Easter egg or two ,,, The singer recently teamed up with Capital One to promote a credit card — and she’s clearly found a way to promote her new music in the process. The cute ad features Taylor as a not-so-talented bartender who can’t seem to mix a drink to save her life before she dons a diner waitress costume and starts screwing up orders there, as well. Over the course of the ad, her new track “Me!” from her forthcoming album, “Lover,” can be heard in the background, but The Blast notes there’s also a barrage of typically tiny details that reference her and her music throughout the clip. The checks she drops off with customers include numbers like $13.13 — she’s all about lucky 13 and has been for years — and $19.89 — she was born in 1989, which also served as the name of her fifth studio album. Other touches include a cat face drawing on the check, a reference to how “swiftly” the company’s card lets you pay and a suggestion that Taylor take the server mistakes she’s made and … you guessed it … “shake it off.” “Lover” is due out Aug. 23.
