Zooey Deschanel and new boyfriend Jonathan Scott marked their first Halloween together attending his brother JD’s wedding.
JD wed his long-time love, Annalee Belle, in Las Vegas on Thursday. The New Girl alum opened up about attending the festivities with her Property Brothers beau in an Instagram post. She donned a Catwoman, while Johnathan was Batman.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever been cat-woman escorted to a fancy-dress party wedding by Batman. Only for the nuptials of @mrjdscott and @annaleebelle could I be so inspired! Congrats to these gorgeous and gracious love birds, I was overjoyed to celebrate such a happy union,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple in their costumes.
The Scott family appears to have welcomed Zooey into the family fold.
“Cat-Woman! My nemesis. Damn you and your charming personality and amazing costume. Curses for sneaking onto the guest list and making my family so happy. You may have won this one, but we shall meet again,” JD wrote in the comments section of the post.
“We’re so so happy you were able to be there with us! Your costumes were great,” Annalee also responded.
The wedding was held at a private home. JD and Annalee had a ‘40s and ‘50s vintage movie theme. Several photos of not only the bride and groom but also the actress and her reality TV star man were posted on social media.
Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott first sparked romance rumors back in September. They were photographed walking hand and hand in Los Angeles one week after she announced her divorce from Jacob Pechenik. Zooey and her ex-husband were married for four years and share two children.
The new couple met on the set of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke. They each participated in the segment with their siblings. A source close to Zooey and Johnathan revealed to People magazine hey bonded over their love of music.
“He makes her laugh and he’s so sweet to her. They bonded over a shared love of music. He’s very close to his family and loves children,” the insider shared with the weekly magazine in September.
Neither Johnathan or Zooey have commented publicly on the new romance. They do show each other love on social media by commenting and liking posts. Attending JD Scott’s wedding was the first time they have posted on social media of them attending a function together.
