Vin Diesel Celebrates Paul Walker’s Daughter’s Birthday: ‘I Have Always Been Proud Of You’
Vin Diesel is treating Paul Walker’s daughter as one of his own.
The “Fate of the Furious” star penned a sweet letter in celebration of Meadow Walker’s 21st birthday. Meadow is spending the occasion in Japan but Diesel has a cake waiting for her stateside.
“I could say that I am so proud of the person you are becoming… but the truth is I have always been proud of you,” he captioned an Instagram post on Monday. “Happy Birthday Meadow! I know it’s your 21st and you wanted to go big in Japan, but the family has a cake waiting for you when you get home, so hurry. Love you kid. Uncle Vin.”
Meadow commented on the post: Thank you so much. I can’t wait to see you soon. And my little angels. Love you ❤️.”

Diesel and Paul were very close friends. The late actor passed away in a 2013 car accident. Diesel paid tribute to Paul on what would have been his 40th birthday.
Diesel has been working alongside Charlize Theron, John Cena, Helen Mirren, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michael Rooker, Cardi B and more in the upcoming film “Fast & Furious 9”. It is set to premiere on May 22.
