Katy Perry is here to get you feeling festive!
On Monday at noon, the 35-year-old singer dropped the music video for “Cozy Little Christmas,” offering her fans a colorful fever dream to accompany her yuletide anthem, which arrived last fall.
The video kicks off with Perry, dressed in red and fluffy white as well as gold antlers, decorating a Christmas tree in a modern living room. In no time, Santa Claus arrives and the pair head to the pool for some sunbathing, naturally while still clad in cheerful attire. They’re soon joined by tiny stop-motion animated critters, like a snowman and an adorable reindeer, who bask in the sun with them.
Next, Perry reclines in a giant red-and-white striped stemware glass, belting out the track while also dressed like a candy cane. As the track winds down, Perry and Santa seemingly get massages from a reindeer and slow dance by the glowing tree as their small, animated Christmas pals curl up and fall asleep around them.
Just one day prior, the songstress showed her support for transgender pop star, Kim Petras, when she posed in front of anti-LGBTQ protestors from Westboro Baptist Church outside of her show in Kansas City, Missouri.
The “Icy” singer wore a black thong bodysuit with fishnet stockings and over-the-knee boots while proudly posing in front of the protestors across the street.
Soon after Petras posted the images, Perry called her an “icon” on Instagram. And she wasn’t the only one showing her support. Tyler Oakley wrote, “This is holy to me” and Demi Lovato chimed in, “YAAASSSS.”
