Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle company, is facing a new lawsuit.
The company is being sued by photographer Larry Singer for $150,000 who alleges copyright infringement by using a photo he took of Bonnet House.
The website suggested Bonnet House as a Fort Lauderdale travel destination.
In court documents obtained by E! News, Singer’s lawyers claim, “Goop did not license the Photograph from Plaintiff for its Website, nor did Goop have Plaintiff’s permission or consent to publish the Photograph on its Website.”
Singer is asking $150,000 plus profits Goop made from his picture.
Goop has faced lawsuits in the past after making claims about yoni eggs. The company was forced to pay a penalty and “barred from making any claims regarding the efficacy of its products without possessing competent and reliable scientific evidence.”
