Lady Gaga has announced she is putting on a global benefit concert
During yesterday’s WHO briefing, Lady Gaga announced she’s putting on a television special called “One World: Together At Home.” The show will feature performances by some of the biggest names in music.
Lady Gaga has been working with Global Citizen for relief efforts and together they’re raised $35 million to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.
WHO has been working with Global Citizen for several weeks on the “Together At Home” concert series.
The global broadcast will take place on April 18th.
It’s in support of the World Health Organisation and healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis.

Gaga also appeared on the home-set late night talk show Youtube series of several hosts to announce the news. She chatted with Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel about the upcoming concert.
The trio are co-hosting the event. Gaga is a curator of the show, and she’ll also be performing at it.
Special guests will include Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, Stevie Wonder and the Friends of Sesame Street.
The event will air on Saturday night, April 18th (at 8pm ET 5pm PT) on ABC, CBS, and NBC simultaneously.
BBC One will run the program on April 19th, as will RTE among other international broadcasters.
The virtual broadcast will be a multi-hour digital broadcast. It will also stream on Alibaba, Amazon Prime Video, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, LiveXLive, Tencent, Tencent Music Entertainment Group, TIDAL, TuneIn, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo, and YouTube.
