‘Sometimes I don’t know what’s worse trying to avoid the virus or the waves of depression that come with this new norm,’ the pop star, 35, tweeted on Tuesday.
Katy’s confession was met with an outpouring of support from her concerned fans, who urged her to remain strong amid the uncertain times.
‘We love you so much. We’re together in this,’ a fan account tweeted to her.

Reflecting on a particularly tough period between 2017 and 2018, Katy admitted that she struggled to get out of bed.
‘I’ve never had a partner who was willing to go on an emotional and spiritual journey like Orlando. It’s challenging, because you’re facing all the things you don’t like about yourself. It’s like a never-ending cleanse.
