Kate Ferdinand shared pictures of herself and her husband Rio at the Black Lives Matter march in London with his kids Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and nine-year-old Tia
Kate and Rio Ferdinand have revealed they joined thousands of others on the Black Lives Matter march in London today.
The former TOWIE star, 29, took to Instagram to share pictures of the two of them and Rio’s three kids, Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and nine-year-old Tia, at the demo.
In the caption she explained that they decided to go along so the children “understand what is happening in the world and [will] be part of the change”.
The first picture showed the family of five amongst the crowds while they wore their face masks and carried a sign that read “BLM”.
In the second snap Rio wrapped an arm around his wife as they stood with protesters carrying signs around them.
The third showed Lorenz holding up his sign with his back to the camera.
Next was Kate throwing her fist in the air as she joined others doing the gesture.
In another snap Tia was seen on her dad’s shoulders as her sign covered her face.
Kate captioned the post: “Such a moving & overwhelming experience for us today honestly, we were cautious about going & taking the children, but we are so glad we made the decision to go, it’s something we will all remember for the rest of our lives.
“It felt so good to be part of the movement.
