Demi Lovato releases ballad ‘Still Have Me’ after Max Ehrich breakup
Demi Lovato only needs herself
Following her highly publicized breakup from fiancé Max Ehrich, Lovato, 28, released a heartbreaking ballad titled “Still Have Me.”
“I’m a mess and I’m still broken / But I’m finding my way back / And it feels like someone’s stolen all the light I ever had,” she sings.
“It hurts to breathe / I don’t have much but at least I still have me / And that’s all I need,” she continues.
“Music is always there for me…” she tweeted with the song.
Her self-love song is also a reference to her “me” tattoo on her ring finger.
“Me first 🖤 thank you @winterstone for my new forever reminder.. #i🖤me,” she captioned a pic the ink.
Page Six exclusively revealed that Lovato and Ehrich were going to call off their engagement following his resurfaced tweets that fawned over other female pop stars.
Since the split, Ehrich has claimed he found out about it through a tabloid and publicly pleaded for her attention.
Lovato, meanwhile, has been trying to move on from him.
