Christmas came early for Chris Lane and wife Lauren Bushnell.
On Sunday, the couple announced they’re expecting their first child together, sharing a video of an ultrasound on Instagram.
“A dream ☁️ Except I’m not dreaming. I’m wide awake. Holding your dads hand, watching you dance around in my belly,” Bushnell, 30, captioned the post Sunday as Lane’s song, “Big, Big Plans” played in the background.
“Listening to your little heart beat. My new favorite sound. A miracle. New life. Our sweet baby. Thank you Jesus! All the glory belongs to You,” she continued.
Country singer Lane, 36, who wed “Bachelor” alum Bushnell last fall, quipped, “Prayers work! Hope you look like your Mama.”
Bushnell first appeared on Season 20 of “The Bachelor” in 2016, and got engaged to star Ben Higgins. They split in May 2017.
Lane was first linked to Bushnell in 2018. They announced their engagement in June 2019.
In the spring, Bushnell told People that starting a family with Lane was her priority.
“Definitely family. We throw that one around a lot in terms of trying to plan it, I don’t know how much you could plan for that,” she said.
