Weeks after sharing they’ll soon be new parents, Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell have revealed that they are expecting a baby boy.
The couple shared the news via Instagram, posting video of country singer Lane, 36, swinging a nine iron at a powder-filled golf ball, revealing its blue innards on contact.
“Hello 2021 ..It’s a BOY 🏌🏻♂️ @laurenlane,” the artist wrote, tagging his 30-year-old wife.
Bushnell decided to pen a note to her unborn, writing, “Sweet baby BOY, we cannot wait to meet you! I already love you so much! 💙💙💙 The last video is from the day we found out what we were having. My family was in town and I’ve truly never seen Chris/my brothers so excited! And yes Coopy [the dog] definitely knows I’m pregnant 🥺.”
Bushnell first appeared on Season 20 of “The Bachelor” in 2016, and got engaged to star Ben Higgins. They split in May 2017. Lane was first linked to Bushnell in 2018. They announced their engagement in June 2019.
Last month, Lane and Bushnell announced they’re expecting their first child together, sharing a video of an ultrasound on Instagram.
“A dream, Except I’m not dreaming. I’m wide awake. Holding your dads hand, watching you dance around in my belly,” Bushnell captioned the post as Lane’s song, “Big, Big Plans” played in the background.
“Listening to your little heart beat. My new favorite sound. A miracle. New life. Our sweet baby,” she added. “Thank you Jesus! All the glory belongs to You.”
