So 2020 wasn’t all bad for Emma Roberts.
The actress welcomed her first child with boyfriend Garrett Hedlund on Dec. 27 and shared the first pic of the newborn to social media Tuesday.
In the sweet photo, Roberts, 29, wears a tangerine number while holding the infant, Rhodes Robert Hedlund, in her arms.
“Thank you 2020 for getting one thing right ☀️ Our bright light Rhodes Robert Hedlund 🧡,” she captioned the photo.
The new mom posed with her baby bump on display for the cover of Cosmopolitan’s December 2020 issue and opened up about her pregnancy.
She discussed her struggle with endometriosis, which affected her fertility, but said, “It sounds cheesy, but the moment that I stopped thinking about it, we got pregnant … This pregnancy made me realize that the only plan you can have is that there is no plan.”
