Fashion designers from Roberto Cavalli to Olivier Theyskens mourned the death of Harry Brant, after it was reported that the son of model Stephanie Seymour and billionaire Peter Brant died of an accidental drug overdose.
Cavalli posted on Instagram, “You will be truly missed,” while Theyskens posted emojis of three white hearts and a dove.
Model Lexi Boling wrote, “Love you forever and always,” and fashion influencer Bryanboy posted, “Love you forever.”
Also posting messages of condolences on Harry’s Instagram were designers Lisa Marie Fernandez and Malan Breton, iconic French stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Perez Hilton, model and musician Karen Elson, society DJ Marjorie “Mad Marj” Gubelmann, socialite and designer Andrew Warren, actress Emma Holzer and others.
Harry’s last Instagram post was a birthday message to Dudzeele. He wrote, “Happy belated birthday to the queen CARLYNE… The Dauphine francophile with eternal style,” on Jan. 7, with an image of himself, the stylist and Miley Cyrus.
The Post reported that Harry died at age 24. His parents said in a statement on Monday that their son, “lost his battle with addiction and died due to an accidental overdose of prescription medication,” and was, “just days away from re-entering rehab.”
They added, “We will forever be saddened that Harry’s life was cut short by this devastating disease.”
Harry was a front-row fixture at international fashion shows, and sometimes model. He also created a makeup line for MAC Cosmetics with his brother.
