Jennifer Lopez wore suffragette white for the swearing-in of America’s first female vice president.
For her performance of “This Land Is Your Land” and “America the Beautiful” on Inauguration Day, the 51-year-old triple threat donned an all-white look from Chanel featuring a long tweed coat, sequined wide-leg pants and a ruffled silk blouse.
Although her bedazzled inauguration-themed “bling cup” stayed behind the scenes, her look was still full of sparkle.
In addition to her dazzling $1 million engagement ring from Alex Rodriguez, J.Lo accessorized with a plenty of Chanel pearls, including earrings, stacks of bracelets and one of the brand’s iconic chain belts — a possible nod to incoming VP Kamala Harris’ predilection for pearls.
The “Pa Ti” singer also brought her own style to her musical medley, incorporating snippets of Spanish and belting out a bit of her hit “Let’s Get Loud” during her performance.
Before Lopez took the stage, her fellow superstar Lady Gaga belted out the National Anthem in an equally patriotic ensemble: a fitted navy jacket and voluminous red skirt from Schiaparelli Haute Couture, along with a giant gilded dove brooch as a symbol of peace.
