Team Buckingham Palace will show a united front Sunday — in a television special set to air just hours before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.
In the Oprah sit-down Markle does a good bit of complaining about the “almost unsurvivable” royal family, multiple leads and official preview clips have warned.
But first, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton will appear in a pre-emptive show of unity, which will commemorate “Commonwealth Day,” an annual UK holiday.
Ostensibly, the pre-recorded show will honor the heroics of coronavirus front-line workers throughout the UK.
But it will also show the royals in their best light — together to celebrate the courage and resilience of the British people. Take that, Team Harry and Meghan.
“The extraordinary determination, courage and creativity with which people have responded has been an inspiration to us all,” Charles will say of the country’s pandemic response, according to The Sun.
