Teresa Giudice revealed that her now ex-husband Joe Giudice did not receive anything in their divorce settlement on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
“In our divorce settlement, I get the house and Joe walked away with nothing because I paid off all his debt,” Teresa said in a confessional. “And I’ve been taking care of our daughters for five years now all on my own.”
Teresa FaceTimed Joe while she cooked dinner with the couple’s four daughters — Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana — to tell him she wanted to put their house up for sale. Joe quipped that she could do whatever she wanted to do because it was her house.
The couple, both 48, finalized their divorce in September after 20 years of marriage, with Teresa calling their split “the easiest divorce in the whole entire world.” They had separated in December 2019 following years of infidelity rumors and their individual prison stints; Teresa officially put their marital home on the market after Joe signed their divorce papers.
Teresa has since moved on with Luis “Louie” Ruelas while Joe is currently living in the Bahamas while he trains to fight against Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband, Ojani Noa, in October.
Joe was deported to Italy following his 41-month prison sentence for fraud charges. He appealed the ruling, but his request to remain in the United States was denied.
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
