Jerry Ferrara, best known as the constantly be-hatted Turtle from HBO’s “Entourage,” has welcomed a son, his second.
“4/30/2021 @ 10:28pm,” Ferrara, 41, wrote on Twitter Tuesday, alongside a picture of him and his wife, Breanne Racano, with the newborn, whose name was not announced. “Our hearts are full and we are ready to do our best to raise two good men!”
“Time to switch from a zone to a man to man defense!” he joked.
Various celebs, ranging from Ferrara’s “Power” co-star Joseph Sikora to retired NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky, offered their congratulations on Twitter.
“So happy for you guys!” Sikora wrote.
Ferrara also posted a tribute to Racano on Instagram.
“You’re the greatest thing that ever happened to me who also gave me two of the greatest gifts I have ever received,” he wrote. “I marvel at what you have done and you are the glue that holds us all together. Not enough words to ever thank and honor you. So for now I’ll just say thank you and I love you forever and ever!”
Ferrara and Racano welcomed their first son, Jacob Michael, in 2019. Before Jacob’s birth, they suffered a pregnancy loss, an ordeal Racano said made the couple“closer and stronger.”
The couple, who got engaged in August of 2016 after two years of dating, married in 2017. Ferrara subsequently turned heads by posting a picture of his beach bod — which was quite the departure from his “Entourage” days — while on their honeymoon.
Aside from “Power” and tweeting about 4/20, Ferrara has kept busy but with his NFL podcast with Jen Piacenti, “Waiver Wired.”
