Ali Düşenkalkar (Ali Düşenkalkar) has joined the cast of “Mehmed: Sultan of Conquests” (Mehmed Fetihler Sultanı), with the actor set to portray Mehmed Pasha of Rumelia in the fourth season of the Miray Yapım series.
“Mehmed: Sultan of Conquests,” starring Serkan Çayoğlu (Serkan Çayoğlu) as Mehmed the Conqueror, is expected to begin filming its fourth season on August 29, 2026, corresponding to September 7, 1405 in the Persian calendar, provided there are no further changes to the production schedule.
Düşenkalkar’s addition comes as the historical drama continues to expand its ensemble for the new season. His character, Mehmed Pasha of Rumelia, will become part of the story alongside the central character played by Çayoğlu.
The series is also preparing for its upcoming production phase, with poster photography and a script read-through scheduled to take place in the coming days.
Several other actors have also joined the cast for Season 4, including Begüm Birgören (Begüm Birgören), Kürşat Alnıaçık (Kürşat Alnıaçık), Caner Topçu (Caner Topçu), Noyan Özer (Noyan Özer), Hasan Denizyarân (Hasan Denizyarân) and Diyar Ökuyucu (Diyar Ökuyucu).
If the current schedule remains unchanged, filming for the fourth season of “Mehmed: Sultan of Conquests” will officially get underway on August 29, with Ali Düşenkalkar taking on the role of Mehmed Pasha of Rumelia.
