Taylor Swift wasn’t the only one feeling nostalgic before she took the stage in Philadelphia on her Reputation tour on Saturday, July 14. The singer — who was born in nearby Reading, Pennsylvania, and shared a pic of her childhood home ahead of herPhilly shows — was stunned when a pair of Swifty superfans got engaged right in front of her. “They walk into the meet and greet and he says ‘We met 5 years ago at the Red Tour’ and then….. 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻,” she captioned a photo of the moment, adding the hashtag, “#thirdwheel.” It turns out the groom-to-be, identified only as Anthony online, started preparing for his proposal back in early June, when he launched an anonymous Twitter account in the hopes of getting Taylor to see the proposal plans. “We have spent countless hours listening to her music together. I can’t thank Taylor enough for bringing us closer,” he tweeted. After his lady said “yes,” he added, “[Taylor] called me a baller and said that she is never surprised. She also said we were incredible and to go get married!!!! IS THIS REAL LIFE?!?!” he gushed in another post. After the concert, Taylor shared a photo of Lincoln Financial Field, captioning it, “PHILLY I LOVE YOU!!!! This hometown crowd 😍😍😍 See you again tonight for round 2!!”
