After “Game Of Thrones” star Sophie Turner said back in January that she let the ending of the hit show slip to a few people, she had to face the backlash from fans that followed.
“I’m so bad at keeping secrets,” Turner said at the time. “I don’t think people tell me things anymore because they know that I can’t keep them. I’ve already told the ending of ‘Game Of Thrones’ to a few people.”
Turner is now clarifying those reports saying she only told “two people”.
“I was on Twitter and saw these headlines like ‘Twitter followers are being so mean to Sophie Turner after reports she told her friends the ending of ‘Game Of Thrones’,’” she told Entertainment Weekly. “The truth is I’ve only told two people. It’s not that many. To be honest, I don’t read many of the mentions on Twitter because there’s normally quite a bit of hate. Everything I say will always have some negative reactions, so I’m not surprised.”
Kit Harington also told his wife Rose Leslie some spoilers, but fans didn’t react the same way. “The people love Kit Harington, he can do no wrong,” Turner added. “He’s the people’s prince!”
The actress previously told Glamour U.K that she shared the ending of “Game Of Thrones” with her fiancee Joe Jonas.
“I’ve just told Joe [Jonas]. But he’s so mad at me – he loves the show! Well, I have to tell someone, otherwise I’ll burst,” she said.
“Game Of Thrones” returns Apr. 14.
