Just when the rumors of a feud between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were coming to an end, baby Archie arrived and started the rumors back up again. Nearly a week after the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, Prince William and Kate Middleton have not met their new nephew, and royal fans are wondering why.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child on May 6th, and the first member of the family to meet the new royal was Queen Elizabeth, along with her husband, Prince Philip. Markle’s mother Doria Ragland was also on hand for the introduction and cameras were there to capture the moment.

William and Kate have not had the opportunity to meet baby Archie, but they wrote on Instagram that they were delighted by the news of his birth and look forward to meeting the newborn soon.
While the two royal couples remain cordial in public, their relationship has been reportedly deteriorating behind closed doors. There have been accusations of diva behavior on Markle’s part that put Kate in tears during a dress fitting for Meghan’s wedding. And, William and Harry have apparently been at odds since William voiced his concerns about Meghan when she and Harry were dating.
According to Radar Online, after Harry and Meghan tied the knot things have only gotten worse. Harry didn’t attend the annual pheasant hunt, leaving William worried that Meghan was pulling Harry away from the family. And, as fans know, Harry and Meghan left the palace and moved into Frogmore Cottage.
The two couples also split their social media accounts, and Harry and Meghan unfollowed William and Kate.

Neither William and Kate nor Charles and Camilla have met baby Archie, but that doesn’t mean the family is feuding. Harry and Kate took a trip together days before Meghan gave birth, and a palace spokesman has confirmed that Prince William and Kate Middleton will soon be visiting Frogmore Cottage.
Archie arrived when Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were in Germany, but the couple has publicly stated that they are looking forward to meeting their new grandchild.
“We couldn’t be more delighted at the news, and we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return,” said Charles.
