Lori Loughlin and her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded not guilty on Friday, Nov. 2, to a new bribery charge in the nationwide college admissions case. The charge, federal programs bribery, was added to those among the 35-plus parents facing charges who pleaded not guilty to the case’s initial indictment, according to ABC News. ABC reports the additional charge was included by prosecutors to allow for more prison time if any defendants are convicted. Lori was previously charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, according to the website. Lori and Mossimo are accused of paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to get their daughters accepted as crew recruits at USC despite never having rowed.
