Alisha Wainwright’s dad, Jeff is defending her amid all the Justin Timberlake drama. The two Palmer costars were spotted holding hands at a bar in New Orleans over the weekend.
Her rep released a statement saying the two are friends. The outing was nothing more than some cast and crew members from Palmer enjoying some time off. Now, Alisha’s protective papa is proving he has her back.
“She is in New Orleans doing some work, that is all. They are working on a movie together. I did not make anything of it, really. I am a music producer, so I am used to all the hoopla. This is the business we are in. This is how it goes,” the music producer shared with DailyMail on Wednesday.

Jeff went on to let people know his actress daughter is a “free spirit.”
“I cannot be telling you whether or not she is in a relationship or things like that. She is a young lady, 30-years-old, she is living her life and doing what she has gotta do. She has always been a big traveler and open-minded,” he expressed.
Also, if there was something going on between his daughter and Jessica Biel’s husband, Jeff would certainly not share it with the world. Plus, he doesn’t even think he would know if Alisha and Justin were getting romantic. It is showbiz, after all.
“Even if there is something (going on) I would not know. When you are in show business, you separate family from the business. When you are at home with your family, you talk about other things. You don’t talk about this crazy stuff,” Jeff said.
Photos of Justin and Alisha getting cozy at Absinthe House on Bourbon Street, went viral last week. The Sun shared a video too, which made it crystal clear Justin was intoxicated. At one point he could barely stand up before an unidentified female led him inside the bar away from prying eye.
A source told E! News that Justin and Jessica are downplaying the incident. Justin is aware he got too drunk and acted inappropriately. He feels guilty but the source shares there is no doubt the famous goal’s marriage will survive. Neither Justin nor Jessica have commented on the hoopla over his night-out with his Palmer costars.
