Duchess Kate had the best response to a little girl who was excited ‘to meet a real princess’

As a mother of three, Duchess Kate’s already a pro when it comes to interacting with kids. But her nationwide, nationwide “5 Big Questions on the Under Fives” survey, intended to increase “conversation on raising the next generation,” might be giving her even more of a boost. On Tuesday, Feb. 4, for example, the Zara clad duchess was visiting South Wales with Prince William when she reportedly had a sweet exchange with a little girl named Annabel who was “really excited to meet a real princess.” The girl’s mom told People Kate offered the perfect response, telling her, “I’m sorry I’m not wearing a pretty dress today.” According to Annabel’s mom, the little girl “then said that she thought she’d look like Cinderella,” adding that Kate was “very, very natural and lovely and sweet with the children.”
