Jennifer Aniston shares heartwarming snaps as she wishes her good pal Courteney Cox a happy belated birthday: ‘I love you, CC’
They have remained good pals all these years after playing roommates on Friends.
And Jennifer Aniston wished her costar-turned-friend Courteney Cox a happy belated birthday.
The actress officially marked her 56th birthday on Monday, and Jennifer, 51, apologized for the belated tribute as she sent her love to the actress via Instagram stories on Tuesday.
Though she was a day late, she more than made up for it with her heart-felt message.
‘Happy birthday to this amazing human,’ Jennifer began in her Instagram stories, where she posted several photos depicting their friendship.
The first one was of the actress sitting in an arm chair as she cast a warm smile towards the camera.
‘I love you, CC,’ Jennifer wrote in a second snap of Courteney with her arms wrapped around Jennifer.
The actress apologized for the belated tribute as she shared a selfie of Cox raising her eyebrows mischievously towards the camera
‘Sorry I’m late,’ she added.
In the final image, which was a still from Friends, Jennifer painted Courteney’s nails as she rested her bare feet upon her lap.
‘The end,’ she wrote.
Jennifer and Courteney’s friendship began after the duo starred on the hit 90s sitcom Friends, which followed a group of twenty-somethings living in New York City.
The cast were set to film a Friends reunion back in March, but production was put on hold due to the pandemic.
The unscripted special was set to begin filming in late March ‘on the show’s iconic and former home at Stage 24 of the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original cast – Courtney, Jennifer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer – will reunite once filming is able to resume.
Friends came to a close in May of 2004 after 10 seasons on NBC.
