Lana Del Rey and boyfriend Clayton Johnson are reportedly engaged after dating for less than a year.
Us Weekly reported Tuesday that Johnson recently put a ring on the “Young and Beautiful” chanteuse’s finger; fans had spotted a ring on her finger during her Monday performance on “The Tonight Show.” People magazine echoed the news Tuesday evening as well.
Us reports that the couple’s social-media flirtation — which in 2020 practically counts as being caught going in and out of a hotel together — dates back to August, graduating from flirty comments to videos and clips of each other.
Guitarist Johnson is something of an also-ran in the music world, having notched his biggest success via a cover — with his brothers — of the 2015 Kanye West, Paul McCartney and Rihanna novelty hit “FourFiveSeconds.” He bounced around in several other bands, modeled and appeared in music videos for DNCE and Paris Hilton. So, an all-around LA renaissance man, really.
