Former Girls Aloud songstress Sarah Harding has opened up about the natural substances that she uses in order to help with her pain while she battles cancer after revealing that she might have just months to live
Sarah Harding has revealed that she has sought the use of CBD oil in an attempt to alleviate her pain amid her cancer battle.
The 39-year-old former Girls Aloud songstress, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, has opened up in her new book about dealing with pain during treatment.
It comes after the musician revealed that Christmas 2020 was probably her last, and her cancer was terminal after spreading to other parts of her body.
In her memoir, Hear Me Out, the Celebrity Big Brother star explained that Blue star Duncan James had suggested the use of CBD oil had helped him when he suffered a back injury.
“He’d used it after he suffered a massive back injury, while he was doing drag and wearing heels in Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert,” she wrote.
Sarah added: “I figured that if it was something that could help Duncan in that situation, then I should definitely give it a go.”
Sarah is currently battling an aggressive form of cancer that has spread to other parts of her body in recent months.
In her memoir, she spoke frankly about the hurdles she has faced within her health journey and opened up about coming to terms with the prognosis.
Sarah is currently considering treatment options for a secondary tumour at the base of her spine, that has possibly grown into her brain.
She also revealed that she did not want to know exactly how long she has left, and instead of dwelling Sarah is concentrating on making the most of the time she has.
“I’m trying to live and enjoy every second of my life, however long it might be,” she also added in her book.
News of Sarah’s devastating cancer battle comes shortly after the star dropped a surprise single and revealed that she would be donating all the money made to The Christie NHS Foundation amid her own cancer battle.
Her track Wear It Like A Crown – that the blonde bombshell penned some 10 years earlier – has received lots of positive support from fans.
