We may not be royalty, but we love to pretend that we are. Who hasn’t imagined what it would be like to casually visit the Queen of England, or to stroll through London as the masses gawk and awe? The only thing we love more than imagining our stint at greatness is imagining how we’d style ourselves. Yet, thanks to Kate Middleton, we don’t have to guess too much.
Besides being the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate is also our patron saint of style, and now our ultimate hair inspiration. Just look at one of her most recent hairstyles — a blowout that has us reaching for our hair dryer.

Just look at those loose curls! While we’re tempted to whip out our straightener or put our hair up in the summer heat, we’re now reevaluating. Is a good blowout the secret to feeling like royalty? Hair can make or break a look, but have we been missing this obvious solution to hair dilemmas?
Of course, Kate also styled her blowout glamorously, opting for a high-waisted, long-sleeved dress in a bright lilac that makes her chocolatey hair pop.

With a hairstyle this good, you can simply wave at all the haters as you walk by. Even if you’re not wearing something as vibrant as the Duchess, you can pair your blowout with anything and automatically look put-together. Want to wear an old tee and jeans?
