Angelina Jolie and Kate Middleton recently had a “secret meeting,” according to OK!. The topic of conversation: Brad Pitt.
“Kate carefully asked how things were going since the split,” an insider tells the magazine. [Angelina] poured her heart out… about everything she’d been through this past year and a half, the difficulty in raising six kids as a single mom, their custody issues and missing Brad.”
The outlet’s tipster reveals Middleton “told Angie she should take Brad back,” and advised the Oscar winner that “if Angie could find it in her heart to forgive him, it’s worth giving their union another shot.” It’s further said that the Duchess of Cambridge very much “wants to do what she can to help this couple in distress.”
The publication doesn’t say just when or where this purported “catch-up” took place, which is a marked contrast to when a Kensington Palace spokesperson confirmed in detail that Middleton and Jolie met in 2015. And on top of the Duchess being very busy raising three kids and fulfilling royal responsibilities, it doesn’t make much sense to claim Middleton now wants to help Jolie and Pitt reunite when they split nearly two years ago.
Regardless, when Gossip Cop ran this tale by the palace, a staffer with whom we spoke laughed it off. It should also be noted this is all coming from the same tabloid that falsely claimed Middleton was expecting twins.
