Gwyneth Paltrow is still on cloud nine after she and Brad Falchuk said “I do” in the Hamptons on Sept. 29. “It’s fantastic,” she recently told Glamour UK. “I am so grateful. It’s different to be in your mid-forties; do it again and bring all your experience, your pain, your happiness, suffering — everything. It’s actually very heartening, I feel very optimistic!” The actress and GOOP maven was previously married to Chris Martin before announcing their decision to “consciously uncouple” back in 2014. They’ve remained friends since then. Gwyneth and Brad announced their wedding plans in her Goop magazine, explaining how their age and experience factored into their decision to tie the knot. “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this junction in our lives when our collective successes and failures and can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship,” they told GOOP in a joint statement. Explaining why she wanted to marry Brad, she added: “Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be. I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that [terrifyingly] are made possible by intimacy.”
