Melania Trump Says She’s Already Warned 12-Year-Old Son Barron About The Dangers Of Consuming Drugs!
The First Lady is doing her job as a mother and teaching her and Donald’s son, 12-year-old Barron, to be careful about drugs! That is what Melania Trump revealed during an interview with Fox News host Eric Bolling, the son of whom tragically passed away of an opioid overdose at the age of 19.
Melania was in attendance at a Las Vegas anti-opioid town hall event when the discussion took place earlier today, so the topic was more than appropriate.
The woman dished that she had already talked with son Barron about drugs, warning him that they are definitely not good for him.
‘I teach him, I really try to explain how drugs are really dangerous and how they’ll mess up your head, your body and nothing good comes of it,’ she told Eric who lost his son to an overdose back in 2017.
Eric Jr.’s life was taken away by a combination of cocaine and fentanyl that came from a ‘street Xanax’ he bought without knowing.
Melania was then asked what she thought was the proper age for parents to start teaching kids about drug use.
‘I think 8. Nowadays children are so smart and life is so fast – they have access to everything. We need to teach them at a very early age how bad drugs are,’ Melania replied.
The First Lady’s appearance at the event was part of her campaign, known as Be Best, that focuses on cyberbullying and drug use.
Melania also mentioned her husband’s point of view that a lot of drugs come through the borders from outside the country and argued that: ‘We need to make sure that no drugs are coming to our country. They are coming south through our border. They are also coming through China. They are very dangerous. We need to stop that.’
