Arrow star Stephen Amell has revealed a major mystery character who will feature in the ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ crossover event.
The five-episode crossover, which begins tonight (December 8), will see characters from across the Arrowverse unite to take on a common threat – but the identity of some of the heroes still remains a secret.
In fact, back in October, when Amell shared a behind-the-scenes photo of some of the cast members posing with his daughter, he had to scribble out one particular person because their very presence was a spoiler.
However, Amell has now un-scribbled that individual, revealing it to be Katherine McNamara, who plays his on-screen future adult daughter Mia Smoak.

Looking back, it’s now clear why Amell had to edit McNamara out of the image. The actor shared the photo towards the start of the final season of Arrow, but her character didn’t appear until halfway through.
Mia and her team were sent back from the future to 2019 by The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) and now we know why: because she’s to play a prominent role in fighting against the enemy in the crossover event.
