Gwyneth Paltrow may love putting goop on her face, but she’s not above injecting it, either.
The actress, 47, is opening up about her use of Xeomin, an anti-wrinkle injectable she says she began using “a few years ago.”
“Finding highly purified and proven products is so important. That’s one of the many reasons I started using Xeomin a few years ago,” Paltrow, who is partnering with Xeomin on a new ad campaign, told People.
“For me, beauty is about deepening happiness versus trying to chase youth,” the beauty and wellness guru added. “And it’s no secret that I’m an open book when it comes to trying new beauty regimens, but I want to know what’s in a product before putting anything into my body.”
Paltrow opened up about aging in a conversation with mom Blythe Danner last month, telling her daughter Apple Martin that she felt the prettiest in her late 30s, thanks to her level of confidence.
“I think aging is hard. It’s definitely a process, and I think when you see your face start to change, you don’t necessarily feel your most beautiful externally,” she said. “But the irony is it’s that time in your life when you actually really like yourself and love yourself. So you sort of internally feel really beautiful.
