While his family continue to showcase their every move in the public eye, Rob Kardashian has taken a slightly less in-your-face approach.
The sole brother in the Kardashian clan is “doing well” a source told People as the star turned 34 on Wednesday.
To celebrate, the source said that there was a “family only” birthday party at mum Kris Jenner’s house, with Rob’s two-year-old daughter, Dream, also in attendance.
“He comes along for all the family vacations, but still prefers to stay out of the spotlight,” the source added.
“He is working on his health and seems happy.”
Rob has previously struggled with depression, weight gain and type 2 diabetes but it’s been reported that he has changed his lifestyle to try to be the best version of himself.
His family led the tributes of those who wished him a happy birthday on social media. Many of them added shamrock emojis to their posts in reference to him celebrating his day on St Patrick’s Day.
Kim, 40, marked the occasion with a series of throwback snaps and wrote: “I love you so much and can’t imagine life without you!”
Kourtney, 41, meanwhile described her brother as her “soulmate” and said: “You are one of a kind, make us all laugh until we cry, with the ultimate sweetness and memories to last us until all eternity. I am so blessed to call you my brother. I love you for life and after.”
Mum Kris, 65, wrote a slightly longer monologue to her only son. She took to Instagram to say: “Happy birthday to my funny boy @robkardashianofficial who is the light of our lives!!!
“You make us laugh constantly and are always so loyal and supportive to us all. Rob you are the greatest daddy, son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend!!!”
She continued to praise his “generous soul” and said she was blessed to be his mum before signing off the message: “You are such a huge part of my heart and I love you. Have a magical day.”
